Fish Fear Me - Jam
the jam version of Fish Fear Me was the first project completed by 100 JECS, a team comprised of myself and three of my friends. it was developed in Unity in about three days for District June Jam 4.
the game has no goal but achieved certain design milestones, and also originated the endlessly classic character of Fishest Gup.
in the game, you play as Gup as he attempts to survive an endless onslaught by fishing up allies. this version can be found on itch.io. There is no publicly available version control for the project due to Unity nonsense.
Sizzle Reel
Sizzle Reel (starring Fishest Gup!) is a plane-themed dodging and management game developed with Godot for IGDA district jam 5. similar to Fish Fear Me, our initial goal was to make a game which focused on fishing and fighting. however, schedule limitations and ideas for nonviolent games spurred us to make something new, instead!
the game was themed around it being played “on” our take on an unspecified dual-screened game console. we modeled a landscape that the player constantly flies through, while fire rains from the sky that they need to dodge on the top screen, and simultaneously extinguish from the bottom screen.
